Northeast Power Hour: Economic Revitalization in Our Commercial Areas

Wednesday, September 15, 2021 (12:00 PM - 1:00 PM) (PDT)

Join the BOMA/GLA Northeast Regional Council and members from Burbank, Glendale, and Pasadena for an engaging conversation about how cities in our area are approaching economic revitalization and development in our urban cores.

This Power Hour will focus on how government officials are working with the private sector – including commercial real estate leaders – to ensure long-term economic recovery and resiliency after the COVID-19 pandemic.

It will also update members on the status of some of the largest commercial development projects in the Tri-Cities, and what it means for their urban cores.

Key learning objectives:

  • Understand government strategies to revitalize and grow the economy in Tri-City commercial corridors, and achieve greater levels of economic resiliency.
  • Learn how government officials are working with the private sector to facilitate this, and how you might work with your local government too.
  • Receive an update on some of the biggest commercial development projects that impact your profession.

Bradley Calvert, CDD, Assistant Director of Planning and Economic Development, City of Glendale
