Wednesday, September 24, 2025 (8:30 AM - 10:00 AM) (PDT)

Description

EVENT DESCRIPTION:

Knowing how to respond to an Active Shooter event is critical. Understanding the pathway to such violence is equally as important. Derived from the City of Los Angeles’ “Run-Hide-Fight” program, this presentation will go over the pre-incident indicators of an Active Shooter and break down the response options you need to know should you ever find yourself in such a situation.

Join our panel made up of LAPD and industry leaders as we discuss this important topic. Early arrival is highly suggested - don’t miss the presentation, hands-on activities, and an engaging Q&A session that follows!

Key Takeaways:

  • Recognize Warning Signs: Understand the pre-incident indicators that may signal an active shooter event and learn how to spot concerning behaviors.
  • Response Options: Learn about the “Run-Hide-Fight” response framework, and how to apply it effectively in a real-life active shooter situation.
  • Insights from Experts: Gain valuable perspectives from both LAPD and industry leaders on best practices for safety and preparedness.
