South Bay Power Hour: Public Safety in the South Bay

Tuesday, December 7, 2021 (12:00 PM - 1:00 PM) (PST)

Description

As tenants make plans to return to the office in early 2022, it is important to know how your local police is keeping your assets safe – and to reinforce our relationship with them.

Join BOMA/GLA’s South Bay Regional Council for a lunchtime conversation with representatives from the El Segundo and Manhattan Beach Police Departments.

After some networking with fellow building managers throughout the South Bay, the officers will provide an update on crime rates, challenges with local homeless encampments, and answers to your security questions as you help your tenants devise their return-to-office plans.

Key Takeaways:

  • Understanding current crime levels in El Segundo and Manhattan Beach
  • Understanding local police departments’ approach to challenging homeless encampments
  • Developing a collaborative relationship with your local police department
